our heritage

A independent family run business, Mann Jewellers has a heritage spanning over 200 years. Established in 1741 it was located in Gloucester as a clockmaker by James Jew, his apprentice William Mann, took over the business in 1835 and expanded the business into a retail jewellery shop.

The Mann family remain in the jewellery business to this day, with the eighth generation bringing a wealth of knowledge to the trade.

Mann Jewellers in Stroud has been managed by Mr Brereton Mann for over 30 years. His dedication to sourcing interesting unique and beautiful items and his willingness to share his knowledge and experience has made the shop what it is today.
